This was another student design projects. We were supposed to create something of ‘found objects’ obviously enough. I tried to think outside of my norm and instead of physical items went with digital and audible ones.
I found a bunch of pictures on my hard drive I hadn’t had a use for and ran them through some Photoshop filters to get a nice abstraction, the same with video.
Produced with Eovia Carrara 8 Pro, Adobe Photoshop CS5, Adobe Premiere Pro CS5, and Adobe After Effects CS5. I wanted something abstract enough that the viewer has to create their own narrative.
The music, by Japanese musician Kitaro, was contrasted by the audio from the real video to pull you out of your headspace.
Another ‘sketch’ or v1 as I like to call them. Ready when the call for iterations and reworks come…lol…
